Express Removals is an independent quote referral service, not a removals business.
Collection notice
Australian Privacy Principle 5 in the Privacy Act 1988 asks us to tell you a few things when we collect personal information. Please read this before you send the form.
Who we are. Express Removals, a service operated by Uplinkd Group Pty Ltd. Email [email protected]. Our full details are in our privacy policy.
What we collect. What you type into the form: your name, phone and email, the suburbs or towns you are moving from and to, when you need to move, the move date and property size if you give them, the kind of move and your access notes. We also record when you sent it, the page you sent it from and that you agreed to it being passed on. All of it comes from you, through the form.
Why. To pass your request to a local removals business so it can contact you about the move and a quote, and to follow the request up with you. We only send you tips emails if you tick that separate box, and you can unsubscribe whenever you like.
Is it required by law? No. No law requires you to give us this information.
If you leave details out. Without a way to contact you, the two places and when you need to move, we cannot pass the request on and no removalist can quote.
Who receives it. Normally one removals business that works in your area, which may pay us for the referral. Our website host and email provider also handle it for us. Nobody else receives it unless the law requires or allows that.
Overseas. The website and the requests sent through it are stored on servers in the United States (DigitalOcean) and travel through Cloudflare's network. Email is sent through Brevo, which stores data in the European Union.
